...when he turned the knob of the door and stepped through the frame, he was greeted by cheery blond woman wielding an ice cream scoop.
There were so many things wrong with this scenario that Fiyero was very certain that he must have been hallucinating it.
Cue one very tattooed man re-opening and backing out of the door while still facing the counter and employee.
A moment later, the door was pushed open again and Fiyero walked in to find the same woman. She was now trying to narrowly restrain her giggles, however. Fiyero frowned, moving to the counter to peer over the edge. Perhaps this was some very elaborate and over-orchestrated prank to teach him a lesson for disobeying Elphaba's orders -- she'd replaced her flat with a treats parlour.
...right, that seemed very likely.
"Uh," he managed with all the eloquence of a Prince taken completely off-guard, "you aren't secretly green, are you?"

arjiki_diamonds, aka Fiyero (Prince of the Arjiki) (Wicked/Son of a Witch)!!Okay, they'd been back in the future for four days now, and as far as Bridge was concerned, they'd been the most frustrating four days ever. With Gruumm's arrival and subsequent attack on Earth, there hadn't exactly been time to discuss his and Xander's situation with Cruger. Which meant that he'd been stuck back in his old room on the base with Sky while Xander stayed with his parents. Hence the frustration, because living apart isn't exactly an ideal arrangement when you're married.
And so the two of them were here. Standing outside Cruger's office. And going to go in any second now, really.

Jaina was having a problem lately reminding herself that she needed to get out of the flight shed. Not because spending that much time doing what was essentially work a galaxy away from the war was unhealthy, but because if and when she did end up back there, the fighting she'd end up doing stood a good chance of being a physical fight. Also because it was really unhealthy, but like she was going to admit that?
Currently she was working on the punching bag, looking for all the world like she was taking out her frustrations on it (and she did have plenty of those), but mainly she was just trying to get better, and see how long she could go before she had to stop, or someone dragged her away. Whichever came first.
